Integrated remanufacturing, maintenance and spares policies towards life extension of a multi-component system

چکیده
The decision for remanufacturing as a life extension solution ageing equipment approaching their end of (EOL), has marginalized the active role end-users and maintenance functions, by predominantly considering remanufacturers (OEM/R) context. However, decisions influencing immediate core (used item/part its component) condition like corrective actions used, when to return or exchange with remanufactured part, are often responsibility. Factors cost, alternative spare strategies, introduce conflicting preferences, hence an asymmetric relationship between end-user remanufacturer. This paper develops integrated methodology optimize maintenance, remanufacturing, multiple strategies (new exchange) jointly, multi-component system dependencies. model inculcates assist derive support on optimal while minimizing costs. A case study turbine rotor assembly turbocharger obsolescence demonstrates utility proposed model. shows that approach offers robust support, further significance function influence in making.
